Job summary

MCC Perth is seeking a Trade-Qualified Flexographic Printer to join our team in Perth. The role offers a supportive environment with a skilled craftspeople team and 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with rotating and fixed shifts available.

You will operate cutting-edge print technology, ensure safety and efficiency, and contribute to quality control and production records while mentoring Assistant Printers. Candidates must be trade-qualified with Flexo or Web Offset experience.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified in print (Certificate IV or equivalent).
• Experience in Flexo or Web Offset printing.
• Experience with embellished reel-to-reel labels is an advantage, but not essential.

• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Inspect components and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.

About the role

We’re looking for a Trade-Qualified Flexographic Printer to join our MCC Perth team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printer who values working alongside a skilled and supportive team of craftspeople. Our operation runs across three shifts, Monday to Friday (5 x 8-hour shifts). Rotating and Fixed Shifts available.

Your duties

• Operate advanced print technology to deliver client orders on time and to high-quality standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Inspect components and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
• Uphold quality assurance practices and maintain accurate production records.
• Support and train Assistant Printers, coordinating daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.

About You

• Trade qualified (Certificate IV in Print or similar).
• Experience in Flexo or Web Offset printing.
• Experience with highly embellished reel-to-reel labels is an advantage, but not essential.
• Previous experience in the printing or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong quality control skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
