Job summary

Morayfield Sport & Event Centre (MSEC) is hiring a Casual Venue Assistant to deliver great customer experiences across café service, event operations and venue presentation.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, covering food and beverage service, event setup, and safety duties, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A current RSA, Blue Card and First Aid/CPR are required or obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current Blue Card and RSA verification are required.
• First Aid and CPR certification are required or willing to obtain within 30 days.
• C Class Driver's Licence is essential for delivery and moving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages and food in a cafe setting.
• Provide excellent customer service and process POS transactions.
• Set up and pack down venues for events and activities.
• Move furniture, arrange event spaces and support presentation.
• Follow safety, health, liquor licensing and cleanliness standards.
• Undertake manual handling and maintain stock and cleanliness.
