Job summary

Ansvar Australia, part of Benefact Group, is seeking a Payroll Officer to join the Melbourne office on a flexible part-time arrangement (2–3 days per week). You will work with the Payroll Specialist to deliver accurate payroll, respond to employee queries, and help ensure smooth payroll operations.

This role requires strong end-to-end payroll experience, knowledge of Australian payroll requirements, and excellent data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end payroll processing knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and data integrity.
• Solid understanding of Australian payroll requirements, including taxes and superannuation.
• Proficient with payroll systems and generating payroll reports.
• Clear communication and customer service when addressing payroll queries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely payroll for staff.
• Partner with Payroll Specialist for fortnightly and month-end activities.
• Support payroll compliance, reporting and reconciliations.
• Provide confidential payroll support to employees and managers.
• Contribute to improving payroll processes and employee experience.
