Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking an Operations (Lifeguard) Team Leader for Newstead Outdoor Pool. You will lead the lifeguard team, manage rosters and admin tasks, and support with day-to-day operations while upholding aquatic safety protocols.

The role is part-time with an hourly rate up to $33.87 plus super. Candidates should have strong admin skills and prior duty manager or lifeguard experience, with flexibility for seasonal peak hours.

Qualifications

• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
• Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate.

Responsibilities

• General leadership within the operations/lifeguard team including assisting the Operations Coordinator in managing and developing the team.
• Rostering and paying of staff.
• End of month reporting & invoicing.
• Coordinating with other centre leaders.
