Job summary

Blue Rock Construction is seeking an experienced bookkeeper for a hands-on, flexible part-time role in Botany, Sydney. You will own day-to-day bookkeeping, ensure payroll is accurate and on time, and keep financial records up to date.

The position offers autonomy, independence, and potential for additional hours to assist with broader office tasks. Key duties include payroll processing, timesheet coordination, AP/AR management, reconciliations, BAS preparation, and monthly close support.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Strong bookkeeping experience across payroll, AP/AR, and month-end reconciliations.
• Experience with superannuation and BAS preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll, including reconciliations and superannuation.
• Coordinate and chase timesheets to ensure payroll is completed on time.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Complete bank, credit card and vendor reconciliations.
• Code invoices to construction projects and assist with month-end processes.
