Ark Allied Care is a Melbourne-based disability and allied health organisation seeking a part-time Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner/Registered Psychologist. You will manage a caseload across NDIS, private and Medicare clients, delivering high-quality services in home, school, or community settings.

The role offers autonomy, professional supervision, and administrative support, with the potential to expand to full-time as client base grows.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology
• AHPRA registration as a Psychologist and current NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Behaviour Support Practitioner registration
• Experience creating Positive Behaviour Support, Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans
• Experience supporting people with disability, complex needs and behaviours of concern
• Strong assessment, report-writing, communication and independent caseload management skills
• Victorian driver’s licence, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing individualised Behaviour Support Plans
• Applying evidence-based, person-centred and trauma-informed interventions
• Conducting psychological assessments and delivering appropriate therapeutic and educational services
• Collaborating with participants, families, support networks and other professionals
• Preparing high-quality clinical reports, treatment plans and documentation
• Maintaining compliance with NDIS requirements, professional standards and safeguarding obligations
