Job summary

Healthscope’s Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Sydney is seeking registered midwives for full-time and part-time roles in its renowned maternity unit. You’ll deliver evidence-based midwifery care, work with a dedicated team of midwives, obstetricians, and neonatal nurses, and provide exceptional patient experiences.

Roles include cross-rotation through the birthing unit and Special Care Nursery, with a maternity educator supporting upskilling and career development.

Qualifications

• Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA.
• Ability to liaise with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent patient and family communication.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based midwifery care and exceptional patient experience.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Ensure patient and staff safety.
• Supervise and mentor midwifery/nursing team members (ENs and AINs).
• Provide education and support to mothers and families.
• Demonstrate sound clinical decision making and problem solving.
