Healthscope Hospitals in Sydney is seeking Registered Midwives for full-time and part-time roles in a dynamic birthing unit and post-natal ward. You will work across the birthing unit and Special Care Nursery on rotation, with dedicated maternity educators supporting your upskilling and work-life balance.

Formación

• Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Special Care Nursery experience advantageous.
• Compliance with NSW Health policy and national standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver evidence-based midwifery care and provide exceptional patient experience to women and their families.
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure patient and staff safety.
• Supervise, direct and guide midwifery/nursing team members (ENs and AINs).
• Deliver education and support to mothers and their families.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with required policies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based midwifery care and provide exceptional patient experience to woman and their families

• Special Care Nursery experience advantageous
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker
• Basic computer skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement, a salary ranging from $40.26 – $56.54 per hour
