Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Sydney seeks Registered Midwives to join our dedicated maternity team. You will deliver evidence-based midwifery care in a dynamic birthing unit and post-natal ward, with rotations to the Special Care Nursery as required.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time roles, supported by a maternity educator and ongoing professional development to help you grow in your career.

Formación

• Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Proven experience in a similar midwifery role.
• Special Care Nursery experience is advantageous.
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
• Strong clinical decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based midwifery care and provide exceptional patient experience to woman and their families
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and guide midwifery/nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
• Deliver education and support to mothers and their families
• Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Proven Experience in a similar role
• Special Care Nursery experience advantageous
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker
• Basic computer skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement, a salary ranging from $40.26 – $56.54 per hour
