Job summary

UPA of NSW is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse for Christmas, New Year and beyond at Prunus Lodge, Molong. This direct UPA employment role includes induction, ongoing support and the chance to work with familiar residents and teams.

You will deliver high-quality, resident-focused clinical care, contribute to care plans, and support the wider care team across flexible shift times including mornings, arvo, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• At least 12 months’ post-registration experience.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, person-centred nursing care within your RN scope of practice.
• Complete clinical assessments and identify changing care needs.
• Develop and contribute to individual care plans.
• Provide clinical guidance to Personal Care Workers and the wider care team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Respond to changes in residents’ health and escalate concerns as required.
• Support medication management in line with policy.
• Communicate with residents, families and health professionals.
• Provide clinical supervision and supporting staff to maintain competencies.
• Contribute to quality improvement and infection control.
