Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join our Rental Fleet team in Truganina, Victoria. This hands-on role services, repairs, refurbishes and rebuilds a fleet of around 120 rental machines, ensuring safe return to service and customer readiness.

You’ll perform inspections, major and minor repairs, refurbishment projects and end-of-life rebuilds, gaining exposure to construction, utility, quarry and selected mining equipment, within a safety‑and‑quality focused

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Truck Mechanics, Road Transport, Light Vehicle or similar.
• Experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Experience working on earthmoving equipment, mobile plant, trucks or trailers is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair a fleet of approximately 120 rental machines.
• Perform return inspections and delivery inspections.
• Refurbish and rebuild end-of-life machines.
• Maintain fleet reliability while meeting safety and quality standards.
