Job summary

Lowes Petroleum Service in Brisbane is seeking a Service Maintenance Advisor to support heavy vehicle fleet operations. The role focuses on coordinating maintenance, liaising with depots and vendors, and ensuring timely service delivery across depots in QLD.

You will handle documentation, invoices, and records, monitor compliance and risks, and contribute to preventative maintenance planning while working with our regional deployment teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a workshop service adviser or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with computer systems, reporting and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work progress, costs, and completion timeframes, escalating issues where required.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated Service Maintenance Advisor with a background in heavy vehicle service advising joining our team in Pinkenba, Brisbane. This role offers an entry point into the fuel transport industry, supporting fleet maintenance, maintaining vendor relationships and assisting depot teams with day-to-day fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate fleet maintenance, repairs, servicing, and breakdown activities.
• Monitor work progress, costs, and completion timeframes, escalating issues where required.
• Liaise with depots, vendors and internal stakeholders to keep maintenance work progressing efficiently.
• Ensure maintenance documentation, quotations, invoices, and job records are accurate and
  complete.
• Monitor fleet compliance, service schedules and maintenance records, escalating safety, operational and financial risks as required.
• Support preventative maintenance planning and fleet system administration.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a workshop service adviser role
• You will be self-motivated, comfortable working collaboratively and able to follow direction from key team members.
• Strong attention to detail and sound computer skills are essential, including confidence using software systems, generating reports and reviewing invoices.
• You will bring knowledge of trucks and trailers, along with a willingness to learn about fleet maintenance within the fuel transport industry.
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Proficient in maintenance management systems and Excel reporting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication by phone and email
