Job summary

Hertz Trucks is seeking a full-time Fleet Coordinator at our Smithfield location in NSW. The base salary is $100,000 per year, plus a company vehicle and superannuation. You will support statewide fleet administration, oversee vehicle readiness for rent, and manage costs related to servicing and parts.

The role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills who can liaise with customers and suppliers while ensuring compliance with WHS and company policies.

Qualifications

• A current driver's license is required.
• Superior organisational and time management skills.
• Able to learn and adapt to complex computer systems and comprehensive knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of vehicle parts and service consumables.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and adaptable to respond to ad hoc requests and unexpected situations.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the state manager with the sale of vehicles.
• Coordinating the preparation of new vehicles for rent.
• Ensure all administrative functions relating to the fleet are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor and manage the cost of items related to vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, including work health and safety regulations.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained and presented to the highest standards.
• Develop and maintain close liaison with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Fleet Coordinator to join our team, working from our Smithfield location.

The salary package for this role is a base salary of $100,000 + company vehicle + super.

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our locations by maintaining, coordinating, and managing the administrative functions related to our fleet within the state. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to learn, open to growth, and has a positive attitude. An interest or background in working with cars or vehicles is highly desirable.

This role is responsible for:
