Job summary

Europcar Australia is seeking a driven Fleet Controller to join our Western Australia team at Perth Airport on a full-time basis. You will coordinate fleet movements, ensure vehicle maintenance standards, and drive cost-effective processes within budget.

The role reports to the WA fleet team, supporting efficiency and profitability across the region. Ideal candidates will have fleet or frontline operational experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Previous fleet experience or frontline operational experience
• Ability to work within budgets and propose cost effective ways of addressing issues
• Commercial awareness with a strong focus on achieving KPI's
• Ability to analyse and interpret company information / reports
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional level of communication skills, both verbal and written
• Open drivers' licence
• Full Australian work rights

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard
• Coordinate fleet movements to maximise utilisation and profitability
• Monitor, enforce and devise processes to reduce undetected damage across Western Australia
• Coach and guide the WA fleet team (where applicable) to plan and manage fleet for their defined locations/areas - including new car arrivals / defleets, adding restrictions, proposing freight movements, monitoring maintenance and one way activity
• Manage the inter-island process and oversee daily reporting of vehicles to be defleeted in each Island
• Ensure all vehicle statistics are accurate and daily reporting is completed
• Effectively control transfer and relocations costs within agreed budgets
