Job summary

Kinetic is seeking a skilled Bodyshop Tradesperson to join our team and keep our fleet safe, reliable and professionally presented. Reporting to the Bodyshop Supervisor, you will perform body repairs, restoration work, and cosmetic maintenance with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Qualified tradesperson in body repair or related field.
• Current Heavy Vehicle Licence or willing to obtain one.
• Experience in vehicle body repairs and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle body repairs and restoration work.
• Complete interior repairs, trim work, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Apply and remove vehicle decals and signage.
• Identify and rectify vehicle defects promptly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate job cards and repair records.
• Plan repair work and coordinate parts with Purchasing Team.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and stock levels.
• Support a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance team to meet operational requirements.

About the Role

• Reporting to the Bodyshop Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and professionally presented at all times.
• Your responsibilities will include
• Carrying out vehicle body repairs and restoration work
• Completing interior repairs, trim work, and cosmetic maintenance
• Applying and removing vehicle decals and signage
• Identifying and rectifying vehicle defects in a timely manner
• Maintaining detailed and accurate job cards and repair records
• Planning repair work and coordinating parts requirements with the Purchasing Team
• Maintaining workshop tools, equipment, and stock levels
• Supporting a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
• Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to meet operational requirements

About You

• To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A relevant trade qualification in body repair, panel beating, automotive refinishing, or a related field
• A current Heavy Vehicle Licence, or willingness to obtain one
• Previous experience in vehicle body repairs and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Sound communication and problem-solving skills
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance
• A positive attitude and team-focused approach
