Kinetic, Australasia's leading mass transit operator, is seeking a Workshop Supervisor for the Shepparton Depot to lead the heavy vehicle maintenance team and oversee daily workshop operations.

The role focuses on safety, reliability, and compliance, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, defect resolution, parts handling, and team development in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualificações

• Current heavy vehicle licence.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance, compliance and scheduling.
• Experience with parts procurement and workshop operations.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster and provide after-hours breakdown support when required.
• Willingness to travel to regional depots as needed.
• Experience using TIMS or similar maintenance systems (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily workshop operations and allocate work to team members.
• Schedule maintenance, repairs and vehicle inspections.
• Monitor defect notices and ensure repairs are completed within required timeframes.
• Coordinate vehicle availability with Operations.
• Coach, support and develop mechanical team members.
• Perform mechanical duties when required.
• Manage parts ordering, maintenance records and work orders.
• Monitor workshop performance, budgets and opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement across workshop operations.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor - Heavy Vehicle Maintenance to join our team at Kinetic's Shepparton Depot

In this role, you will oversee daily workshop operations, lead and support our mechanical team, and ensure our fleet is maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability and compliance.
