Zusammenfassung

East Arnhem Regional Council is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead the Council’s fleet, plant and fuel operations, with a strong background in asset management. You will drive improvements, ensure safe, efficient management of resources and compliance with WHS policies.

This role requires expertise in fleet, asset and budget management, with the ability to develop replacement programs and oversee monitoring systems.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in fleet, asset or business management.
• Experience budgeting, cash flow, inventory control, procurement, supply chain coordination and scheduling.
• Sound knowledge of operational and maintenance requirements of vehicles and plant.
• Experience administering fleet management systems, driver compliance systems or vehicle monitoring systems.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement and improve policies and procedures to ensure sustainable, compliant and safe portfolio management.
• Manage long-term fleet and plant replacement program for efficient fleet management.
• Oversee fleet tracking and monitoring systems to support effective fleet management and compliance.
• Plan, direct and manage maintenance and repair of fleet assets.
• Prepare budgets and monitor income, expenditure and financial performance across the Fleet portfolio.
• Lead fleet fuel management activities, including supply, storage, usage monitoring and reconciliation.
• Manage fleet assets, fuel supply contracts and community fuel reserves to ensure safe, reliable and continuous operations.
• Comply with WHS policies, procedures and legislation to maintain a safe workplace.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director – Community & Corporate Services.
