Job summary

Bathurst Regional Council is seeking a Plant Coordinator to ensure plant, fleet and quarry resources are managed safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively, while complying with legislative, quality, environmental and safety standards.

• Provide strategic and operational support to the Works Section for plant and equipment planning.
• Maximise plant utilisation and operational efficiency across all work programs.
• Coordinate plant allocation to ensure timely delivery of maintenance and construction activities.
• Monitor plant availability, utilisation rates, downtime, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Support long-term plant replacement and fleet management planning.
