Job summary

All Purpose Transport is seeking a Fleet Allocator to support our Home Delivery Transport Team from our Berrinba site. This role focuses on organising routes, communicating with customers and the fleet, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

The successful candidate will be organised, motivated and capable of working in a dynamic transport environment, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport and fleet management preferred.
• Own transport is advantageous.
• Good IT skills and ability to adapt to new software.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation including fatigue management.
• Ability to effectively plan and organise driver runs.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication with our fleet and the customer.
• Manage the day to day operational requirements of our fleet.
• Organise routes for the fleet.
• Flex the fleet up / down in response to customer volumes.
• Manage safety and compliance.
• Work to key performance indicators.
