Job summary

OZ Design Furniture Pty Limited in Springvale, VIC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager / 2IC to lead our flagship store. YouFll work closely with the Store Manager, coach a small team, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience across sales, service and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership, supervisor, senior sales or 2IC experience.
• A strong track record in sales and customer service.
• The confidence to coach, support and motivate others.
• A hands-on leadership style, where you’ll thrive selling alongside your team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• The confidence to take responsibility for the store when required.
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to see your team succeed.
• Furniture experience is not required. We provide comprehensive in-person and online training.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a small but high-performing sales team.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Coach team members to improve their confidence, product knowledge and sales performance.
• Drive sales and help the store achieve its targets and KPIs.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and visual merchandising.
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Take ownership of the store when acting as Manager on Duty.
• Build on a positive team culture and uphold the standards of our flagship Springvale store.
