Job summary

Fresh St Market IGA Atherton is seeking an experienced Produce professional to run our Flagship Fresh Produce Department. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure quality and freshness, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

Preference will be given to applicants with supermarket management experience in Fresh Foods, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and the ability to work early mornings and weekends on a 7-day roster.

Qualifications

• Experience running a Produce department in a supermarket or similar environment.
• Strong merchandising skills with a focus on quality and freshness.
• Ability to lead, train and supervise a small team.
• Experience planning and managing budgets and targets.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with stock ordering, stock control and rostering.
