Aveo's Newstead Residences in Brisbane is seeking a Domestic Attendant for a 12-month fixed term, full-time role (7:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday). You will perform housekeeping and cleaning across the village, ensuring welcoming service and a high standard of care for residents.

The Newstead creates a luxury and vibrant retirement lifestyle in the inner-city suburb of Newstead. The Newstead offers extensive luxury facilities and outdoor areas for residents to enjoy including cinema rooms, day spas and virtual golf rooms. As a Domestic Attendant, you will provide essential housekeeping and cleaning services across the village while delivering a welcoming and customer-focused experience for residents. You’ll be part of a friendly, people-focused team where you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents.

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term full-time position working Monday to Friday (7:00am-3:00pm)

Your Impact

• Maintain high-quality cleaning standards across apartments or village common areas, including bathrooms, hallways, stairwells and rooms
• Build positive relationships as a friendly and approachable presence at the village
• Assist residents and the community with general ad-hoc tasks as required
• Follow all OH&S requirements and promptly report any safety or security concerns

Whatyou'llbring

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, laundry or similar service-focused roles
• A positive, respectful and people‑focused approach, with a strong commitment to providing a supportive experience for residents
• The ability to work confidently and independently while managing daily tasks and priorities
