Job summary

The Clayfield Retirement Village, part of Aveo, is seeking a Domestic Attendant (Cleaner) for a permanent full-time role. Work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, providing essential cleaning across the village and delivering a welcoming, resident-focused service.

You will maintain hygiene standards, build friendly relationships with residents, assist with ad-hoc tasks, and adhere to OH&S guidelines to ensure a safe living environment. Aveo offers competitive hourly pay and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, laundry or similar customer service roles.
• Positive, respectful and people-focused approach to support residents.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks and priorities.
• Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality cleaning standards across village common areas, bathrooms, hallways, stairs and public spaces.
• Build positive relationships as a friendly presence at the village.
• Assist residents with general ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Follow OH&S requirements and report safety or security concerns.

The Clayfield Retirement Village is a unique community close to the inner city and set on beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens that surround the many private apartments. Joining our team as a Domestic Attendant (Cleaner), you will provide essential cleaning services throughout the village while delivering a welcoming and customer-focused experience for residents. You’ll be part of a friendly, people-focused team where you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents.

This is a permanent Full-Time position working Monday-Friday (8:00am-4:00pm)
