Aveo is seeking a Personal Care Attendant for Peregian Springs. You will provide high-quality in-home care, assist with personal hygiene, medication, and daily tasks, and support residents in community activities.

This permanent part-time role follows a fixed roster and emphasizes wellbeing, independence, and building social connections with residents while adhering to care plans and Aveo policies.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required).
• Experience as a Support Worker or Home Care Worker is preferred.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents in community activities and transport to appointments when needed.

The OpportunityPeregian Springs Country Club offers resort-style retirement living in a peaceful, leafy setting just minutes from Peregian Beach and a short drive to Noosa. With wonderful amenities, a vibrant social scene, and support available when needed, it's a place where residents truly feel at home. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, socialsupportand dailyassistanceto residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building socialconnectionandassistingwith day-to-day tasks.

This is a permanent part time role working the following Roster:

Week 1: Thursday (2:30pm-7:00pm); Friday (2:30pm-7:00pm) and Saturday (3:30pm-7:00pm)

Week 2: Wednesday (2:30pm-7:00pm) and Thursday (2:30pm-7:00pm)

Your Impact

• Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
• Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.gdriving them to appointments or light exercise)
• Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
• Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
• Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety,securityand resident incidents

What we offer

• Weekday Rate: $36.23/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
• Saturday Rate: $54.35/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
