Job summary

Glencore’s McArthur River Mine (MRM) seeks a Mechanical Reliability Engineer – Fixed Plant to enhance safety, reliability and asset life across processing plant assets such as crushers, grinding mills and filtration systems. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Planning, Operations and OEMs to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineer, the role focuses on practical engineering, maintenance improvements and reliability practices to optimise asset

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance and reliability in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience with fixed plant processing equipment such as crushers, mills and filtration.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering and technical support to the maintenance teams across the processing plant.
• Lead and support root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
