Job summary

Wisely Group is seeking a Fixed Plant Fitter to join the Ensham Mine Field and Mobile Maintenance Services team in Central Queensland, near Emerald. The role requires an Australian Recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade, with 3+ years maintaining fixed plant and working on crushing/conveyor systems on a mine site.

Off-site benefits include above-market remuneration with a 7:7 roster, weekly pays, and supplied accommodation with meals; DIDO from Emerald is available.

The Opportunity:

Located in the Bowen Basin, approximately 50 km east of Emerald in Central Queensland. Ensham Mine is renowned for its surface and underground mining operations, boasting an impressive annual production capacity of 4 million tonnes.

FIXED PLANT FITTER

About you:

• Australian Recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade (mandatory)
• Previous experience working on crushing & conveyor systems (Fixed)
• Previous experience working on a mine site (essential)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintaining
• A positive, proactive approach to safety
• Willingness to learn and ask questions if you don't know
• Commitment to working as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to customer service

Hold the following or be willing to obtain:

• Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11Statement of Attainment
• Ensham Mine Induction
