Destec is a diversified mining contractor in Western Australia, seeking Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters for casual work on a 2/1 roster, focusing on proactive maintenance of fixed plant crushers and upgrades to infrastructure.

Applicants should have Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification, a valid drivers licence, and site safety qualifications. The role supports mining sites across WA with day and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Current Valid Driver's Licence.
• High Risk - EWP Ticket (desirable).
• Current Working at Heights Qualification.
• Current Confined Space Entry Qualification.
• Previous experience & knowledge in Fixed Plant mining equipment and environments.
• Experience with crushing and screening plants highly desirable.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts.

We take pride in innovation by designing, constructing, building, maintaining, and operating our own crushing and screening plants for mining sites. Additionally, we provide comprehensive ore processing and materials handling services to the mining industry across Western Australia.

The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for skilled and experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters with experience working in and around fixed crushing plant operations based in the Northern Goldfields to join us on a casual basis on a 2&1 roster.

These roles will focus on proactive preventative maintenance of the existing fixed plant crushers, as well as working on upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure.

The Important Information:

• Mechanical Fitters: Casual hourly rate of $79.01
• Superannuation paid on all hours worked
