Job summary

Mader Group is seeking an experienced FIFO Mechanical Fitter in Western Australia. This casual role involves working on fixed plant equipment such as crushers, conveyors, pumps and gearboxes, with preventative and breakdown maintenance duties.

Roster options include 7/7, 8/6 and 2/2. Candidates must have a Mechanical Fitter trade qualification, mining/heavy industry experience, and safety tickets (White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Testing).

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification.
• Mining or heavy industry experience preferred.
• Must have White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing tickets.

Responsibilities

• Operate fixed plant equipment including crushers, conveyors, pumps and gearboxes.
• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Repair, replace and fit mechanical components.
• Perform fault finding, inspections and equipment overhauls.

About the role:

Working on fixed plant equipment including crushers, conveyors, pumps and gearboxes

Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance

Repairing, replacing and fitting mechanical components

Fault finding, inspections and equipment overhauls

Positions available across Pilbara, Goldfields, NT, SA, Metro and South West

Roster options include 7/7, 8/6 and 2/2

What you'll need:

Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification

Mining or heavy industry experience

White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing tickets (Essential)

Current driver's licence

National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)

Long-term casual position with ongoing work
