Job summary

Destec in Western Australia is seeking skilled Fixed Plant Electricians for casual roles on a 2 on, 1 off roster, based in the Northern Goldfields. You’ll perform preventative maintenance on fixed plant crushers and support upgrades to site infrastructure.

You must have First Aid/LVR CPR, a valid driver's licence, and be able to work day or night shifts; High Risk EWP ticket is desirable, as is Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.

Qualifications

• First Aid / LVR & CPR required
• Current valid driver's licence required
• High Risk - EWP ticket desirable
• Current Working at Heights qualification
• Current Confined Space Entry qualification
• Experience with fixed plant mining equipment and environments
• Experience with crushing and screening plants desirable
• Ability to work day and night shifts

We take pride in innovation by designing, constructing, building, maintaining, and operating our own crushing and screening plants for mining sites. Additionally, we provide comprehensive ore processing and materials handling services to the mining industry across Western Australia.

The Opportunity

We're on the lookout for skilled and experiencedFixed Plant Electricians with experience working in and around fixed crushing plant operations based in the Northern Goldfields to join us on a casual basis on a 2& 1 roster.

These roles will focus on proactive preventative maintenance of the existing fixed plant crushers, as well as working on upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure.

The Important Information:

• Electricians: Casual hourly rate from $82.67 - $86.52
• Superannuation paid on all hours worked

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• Current First Aid / LVR & CPR
• Current Valid Driver's Licence
• High Risk - EWP Ticket (desirable)
• Current Working at Heights Qualification
• Current Confined Space Entry Qualification
• Previous experience & knowledge in Fixed Plant mining equipment and environments
• Experience with crushing and screening plants highly desirable
• Ability to work both day and night shifts
