Job summary
WorkPac is seeking a Boilermaker in Queensland to perform maintenance, repair and fabrication on fixed plant equipment across CHPP and heavy industrial sites. You will interpret drawings and contribute to shutdowns and project maintenance.
The role requires Australian Recognised Boilermaker qualification, current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, plus ability to work safely in a team across Bowen Basin mine sites. Negotiable salary and long-term career opportunities.
Qualifications

- Current Standard 11.
- Current Coal Board Medical.
- Previous fixed plant, CHPP or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance, repair and fabrication on fixed plant equipment.
- Conducting structural repairs and modifications to plant infrastructure.
- Carrying out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Maintaining chutes, bins, conveyors and associated plant equipment.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
- Completing shutdown and project maintenance works.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to industry standards.
- Maintaining maintenance records and inspection documentation.
