Job summary

WorkPac Group is a respected maintenance and engineering services provider supporting mining operations across Queensland. This role involves maintenance, repair and fabrication on fixed plant equipment at CHPP and heavy industrial sites across the Bowen Basin.

You will carry out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance, interpret drawings, and work safely to industry standards. A negotiable salary is offered based on experience, with opportunities to develop skills across multiple mine

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Boilermaker Trade Qualification.
• Current Standard 11.
• Current Coal Board Medical.
• Experience with fixed plant, CHPP or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and fabrication on fixed plant equipment.
• Conduct structural repairs and modifications to plant infrastructure.
• Carry out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Maintain chutes, bins, conveyors and associated plant equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
• Complete shutdown and project maintenance works.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to industry standards.
• Maintain maintenance records and inspection documentation.
