Job summary

Programmed in Penrith is seeking an experienced Fitter for workshop-based work. The role includes project work, site visits and shutdowns, with a day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and a pay rate of $57.71 per hour (incl).

The successful candidate will hold a Cert 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or an equivalent qualification and perform maintenance, installation and repairs as required. Join a reputable company that emphasises safety, quality and teamwork.

To be successful in this role the following qualification, licences, skills and experience is required:

• Cert 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or Certificate of Proficiency in Fitting & Machining (Australian Recognised)
• Perform Mechanical installation and repairs
• Preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance
• Modification, commissioning, testing, fault finding and diagnostic
• Attend breakdowns to all plant and equipment

To be successful for this role, you will need:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Fitter
• Work in collaboration with contractors and other trade professionals where required
• Perform routine maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedule
• Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
• Have strong communication skills and teamwork skills
