Job summary

DSC Personnel is seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist for a metal spinning and manufacturing company based in Minto. This hands-on role suits a skilled tradesperson with strong machining, tooling and mechanical maintenance experience.

The successful candidate will operate manual and CNC lathes, set up machinery for production, make and repair tooling, and perform maintenance across a range of manufacturing equipment. Strong reading of drawings and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter Machinist or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating manual lathes.
• CNC lathe experience is highly desirable.
• Experience making and repairing tooling.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set up machinery and adjustments.
• Maintenance experience across diverse machinery.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Manufacturing or metalworking experience preferred.

To be Successful

• Trade qualification as a Fitter Machinist or equivalent experience
• Strong experience with manual lathes
