Queensland Health in Far North Queensland is seeking an Advanced Fitter to support Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services. You will be responsible for the delivery of effective client focused Building and Asset Maintenance Services that comply with Queensland Health policies, including Building & Infrastructure Policy.

Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services provide planning, construction, operation and Maintenance of all district physical facilities, engineering systems, plant and equipment to meet strategic objectives within a quality environment. Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services currently consist of professional, operational, administrative and trade staff. The Trades include electrical, fitting, plumbing, carpentry and painting. These responsibilities are exercised through the management of in-house labour and the management and supervision of day labour and/or contractors where necessary to supplement in-house labour.
