Ventia in Queensland is seeking a Drill Rig Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of drilling and support equipment on a 2:2 FIFO roster.
You will complete planned maintenance, fault finding and breakdown support to keep operations safe and productive. Candidates must be trade-qualified with minimum 3 years post-trade experience, HR licence and First Aid.

Looking for the perfect FIFO roster? As a Drill Rig Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you'll maintain and repair a diverse fleet of drilling and support equipment including Multi-Purpose Rigs, Schramm 685s, the latest Fury 130 remote-operated rig, Foremost Dual Rotary, RC and conventional drilling rigs, CAT engines, Sullair and atlas compressors, Hurricane boosters, pumps, trucks and light vehicles. You'll complete planned maintenance, fault finding and breakdown support to keep drilling operations running safely and efficiently.
You're a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Fitter who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems in the field, and taking pride in maintaining equipment to the highest standard.
