Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assembly, overhaul and repair of mechanical equipment and components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify practical solutions.
• Complete quality inspections and ensure work is completed to Metso standards.
• Work collaboratively with workshop, planning and engineering teams.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workshop safety.

About the Role

As a Fitter in our Tomago Workshop, you will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment, assembly and maintenance of a wide range of mining equipment and components. You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople and leaders who are committed to helping you grow your skills and progress your career.

This role reports to the Workshop Supervisor and offers the opportunity to work in a modern workshop environment with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
