Job summary

BravoFit in Australia operates as the Planet Fitness franchisee, delivering a friendly, affordable fitness experience in a non-intimidating environment. The role involves creating customized exercise programs for members, leading hourly sessions, and assisting at the front desk while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

The successful candidate will hold Cert III/IV in Fitness with First Aid, CPR, a WWC, and a Police Check, and will demonstrate supervisory experience or strong fitness

Qualifications

• Must provide club with a copy of valid certification or proof you are working toward certification.
• If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred or 3-5 years of experience in the similar field.
• Gym work experience and fitness background preferred.
• Certifications from an approved and accredited Australian Fitness Provider.

Responsibilities

• Design individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.
• Training PF members during PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Submitting all individual training programs or workout logs to GM for review.
• Front desk operations when not busy training during the PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, daily cleaning).
• Inspecting Matrix and Life Fitness equipment for malfunctions or damage and reporting findings.
• Inspecting AED equipment.
• Oiling the equipment weekly.
• Monitoring the 30 min Express area for improper use.

Remit

• Design individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.
• Training PF members during PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Submitting all individual training programs or workout logs, administered to members, to GM for review.
• Front desk operations when not busy training during the PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, daily cleaning and refilling paper products)
• Inspecting all Matrix and Life fitness equipment for possible malfunctions or damage and reporting if any are found.
• Inspecting AED equipment.
• Oiling the equipment (once per week).
• Monitoring the "30 min Express" area for people who are using it inappropriately.

Experience/ Qualifications

• Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness.
• Must provide club with a copy of valid certification or proof you are working toward certification.
• If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
• Prior supervisory experience preferredor 3 -5 years of experience in the similar field
• Gym work experience and fitness background preferred
• Certifications from an approved and accredited Australian Fitness Provider.
• Must provide club with a copy of valid certification.
• If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
• Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of employment and provide club with a copy of the certification.
• Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date.
• Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
