Job summary

BravoFit, the Australia franchisee of Planet Fitness, is seeking a dedicated fitness professional to join our team in Queensland. You will design personalized exercise programs, oversee front-desk operations when not training, and ensure equipment safety and maintenance across our clubs.

The role requires fitness certifications (C3/C4), First Aid/CPR, WWC, and NPC within 12 months, with supervisory experience preferred and a commitment to a high-value, low-cost fitness model.

Qualifications

• Certification in fitness (C3 and C4)
• Must provide a copy of current certification or proof of progress toward certification
• Within two months of hire, must be certified or risk demotion/termination
• Prior supervisory experience preferred or 3–5 years in a similar field
• Gym work experience and fitness background preferred
• Certified by an approved Australian Fitness Provider
• Must have WWC (QLD) and NPC within 12 months of application date
• Must provide a copy of certification to the club

Responsibilities

• Design individualized exercise programs for members based on experience, medical background and goals
• Submit all training programs or workout logs to the General Manager for review
• Front desk duties during non-training periods (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, cleaning)
• Inspect Matrix and Life Fitness equipment for malfunctions and report findings
• Inspect AED equipment
• Oil equipment weekly
• Monitor the 30 min Express area to prevent improper use

Remit

Design individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.

Submitting all individual training programs or workout logs, administered to members, to GM for review.

Front desk operations when not busy training during the PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, daily cleaning and refilling paper products)

Inspecting all Matrix and Life fitness equipment for possible malfunctions or damage and reporting if any are found.

Inspecting AED equipment.

Oiling the equipment (once per week).

Monitoring the "30 min Express" area for people who are using it inappropriately.

Experience/ Qualifications

Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness.

a. Must provide club with a copy of valid certification or proof you are working toward certification.

b. If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.

Prior supervisory experience preferredor 3 -5 years of experience in the similar field

Gym work experience and fitness background preferred

Certifications from an approved and accredited Australian Fitness Provider.

Must provide club with a copy of valid certification.

If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.

Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of employment and provide club with a copy of the certification.

Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date.

Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
