Job summary

BravoFit, the Australia franchisee of Planet Fitness, seeks a fitness professional to design and supervise member training programs, deliver PE @ PF hourly sessions, and support front desk duties. You’ll maintain equipment and ensure safety standards, with strong emphasis on customer care and motivational coaching.

Role requires Certificate III & IV in Fitness, First Aid/CPR, WWC, and National Police Check, plus 3–5 years of gym experience. NSW/VIC checks and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness.
• Provide club with a copy of valid certification.
• If not certified, must be certified within 2 months of hire.
• 3–5 years in a similar field or supervisory experience preferred.
• Gym work experience and fitness background preferred.
• Certifications from an approved Australian Fitness Provider.
• Must provide valid certification copy.
• If not certified, must certify within 2 months of hire.
• Must be First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks.
• Must have WWC (Working With Children) certificate for NSW & VIC.
• Must have completed a National Police Check within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Design individual exercise programs for each member based on experience, medical background and goals.
• Train members during PF sessions.
• Submit training programs or logs to GM for review.
• Front desk duties when not training (selling memberships, cancellations, tours, calls, cleaning).
• Inspect equipment for malfunctions and report findings.
• Inspect AED equipment.
• Oiling equipment weekly.
• Monitor 30 min Express area for improper use.

Remit

• Design individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.
• Training PF members during PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Submitting all individual training programs or workout logs, administered to members, to GM for review.
• Front desk operations when not busy training during the PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, daily cleaning and refilling paper products)
• Inspecting all Matrix and Life fitness equipment for possible malfunctions or damage and reporting if any are found.
• Inspecting AED equipment.
• Oiling the equipment (once per week).
• Monitoring the "30 min Express" area for people who are using it inappropriately.

Experience/ Qualifications

• Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness.
• Must provide club with a copy of valid certification or proof you are working toward certification.
• If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
• Prior supervisory experience preferredor 3 -5 years of experience in the similar field
• Gym work experience and fitness background preferred
• Certifications from an approved and accredited Australian Fitness Provider.
• Must provide club with a copy of valid certification.
• If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
• Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of employment and provide club with a copy of the certification.
• Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date.
• Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
