Anaconda in Melbourne is seeking a customer-focused team member for the fishing department. This part-time role covers approx 15 hours per week, with Friday and Saturday availability a must, and focuses on helping customers choose rods, reels, lures, and tackle while staying stocked and appealing.

You will share expert tips on local fishing spots, gear trends, and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced environment within Australia's leading outdoor retailer.

Qualifications

• Passion for fishing across freshwater, saltwater, or sport fishing.
• Strong communication and friendly, engaging manner.
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive store environment.
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with customers and team.
• Experience in stock, customer service, and sales in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers in selecting rods, reels, lures, accessories & more.
• Provide expert advice on local fishing spots, techniques & tackle options.
• Merchandise and maintain the fishing department to stay stocked and visually appealing.
• Stay up to date with fishing trends, gear and technology.
• Deliver outstanding customer service for a great shopping experience.

About the Role:

Part time position: Approx. 15 hours PW.
Availability on Friday & Saturday is a must.

• Assist customers in selecting the right rods, reels, lures, accessories & more!
• Provide expert advice on local fishing spots, techniques, and tackle options
