Job summary

Spotlight Retail Group’s Anaconda brand in Australia is seeking a Fishing Sales Assistant who will be the go-to expert for all things fishing. You’ll help customers pick rods, reels, lures, and accessories while sharing knowledge on local spots and techniques to enhance their angling experience.

You’ll merchandise the fishing department, keep it stocked and visually appealing, stay current with gear trends, and deliver outstanding service to ensure a memorable shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Passion for fishing – whether it's freshwater, saltwater, or sport fishing, we encourage it all!
• Strong communication skills in a friendly, approachable, and engaging manner
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with customers and team
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive store environment
• Previous Experience: within stock, customer service, and sales within a fast-paced environment
• Business Acumen: understanding the local consumer market, products, and growth
