North West Queensland Indigenous Community Social Services Limited is seeking a passionate Family Support Worker for Ngukuthati Children and Family Centre in Mount Isa. You will support First Nations families and their children aged 0–8, addressing developmental and wellbeing needs through early childhood services and collaborative case management.

You will work closely with health, education and community partners, maintain client records, and participate in safeguarding and culturally safe

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Community Services (or relevant experience) is required.
• Experience with case management and early childhood support is essential.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with diverse communities.

Responsabilités

• Support First Nations families and young children to meet developmental, educational and wellbeing needs.
• Identify family needs, help achieve goals, and connect with appropriate services and resources.
• Maintain accurate client records and participate in the full case management process.
• Build partnerships with health, education and community service providers.
• Promote culturally safe practices and strengthen family outcomes.
