Job summary

Smartlink Training Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic Casual/Contractor First Aid Trainer/Assessor/Instructor to deliver high‑quality first aid training across Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo NSW.

You will conduct practical and theoretical assessments, keep accurate records, and stay updated with first aid guidelines while providing an inclusive learning environment.

Flexibility to work around your schedule and competitive hourly rates: casual AUD 55–60 per hour and contract AUD 60–65 per hour.

Qualifications

• A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40110, TAE40122 or equivalent).
• A valid first aid and CPR qualification (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009 or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a first aid trainer/assessor, preferably in a vocational education or corporate training setting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire trainees.
• A strong understanding of first aid principles, emergency procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Full Australian work rights or permanent residency.

We are looking for First Aid trainers/instructors in Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo NSW.

About the role

We currently have a vacancy for a dynamic and experienced Casual/Contractor First Aid Trainer/Assessor/Instructor to join our team in order to service Shepparton and Surrounding districts. This position offers the flexibility to work around your schedule and commitments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality first aid training and assessments to a diverse range of clients, ensuring they are equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Delivering engaging first aid training courses that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40110, TAE40122 or equivalent)

A valid first aid and CPR qualification (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009 or equivalent)

Proven experience as a first aid trainer/assessor, preferably in a vocational education or corporate training setting
