Job summary

The Shooting Industry Foundation of Australia (SIFA) is seeking a full-time retail sales professional for our Oakey shop, near Toowoomba, Queensland. You will serve customers, provide expert product advice on guns, safes and hunting gear, and handle transactions in a busy retail setting.

Applicants must hold a QLD Category A and B Firearms Licence and a valid QLD Driver’s Licence. Experience in retail is preferred; reloading experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service in a busy shop environment.
• Knowledge of firearms or willingness to learn is essential.
• Accurate handling of cash, invoices and records.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in-store and over the phone with professional advice.
• Create invoices, process payments and manage sales receipts.
• Assist with website updates and respond to emails.
• Adhere to Weapons Licensing rules and safety procedures.
• Support teammates and maintain a tidy, secure shop environment.
