Job summary

Cranfield Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Fire Tester to join our growing fire protection team. You will test, inspect and maintain a range of wet and dry fire systems across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with AS1851 and safety standards.

You will work both independently and with the service team, handle routine testing schedules, complete accurate reports, and liaise with clients and site representatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fire Tester/Fire Technician.
• Experience with wet and/or dry fire systems.
• Understanding of AS1851 compliance and testing.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Driver's license (NSW).
• FPAS accreditation highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and maintain fire protection systems.
• Perform monthly, six-monthly and annual testing per AS1851.
• Fault finding and repairs.
• Complete service reports and logs accurately.
• Liaise with clients and site reps.
• Respond to breakdowns and service requests.
• Collaborate with service and technical team.
