Job summary

Interactive Fire Systems in Perth, WA seeks an experienced Dry Fire Technician for installation, commissioning and maintenance across Perth metropolitan projects. The role covers site-based fault finding, system commissioning and ongoing service work with a professional team.

You’ll work on fire detection and EWIS systems across commercial developments, with opportunities to expand within maintenance and service divisions, aligning with Australian Standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Cabler Registration.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction).
• Good knowledge of Australian Standards.
• Experience with commercial fire detection system installations.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install fire detection and EWIS systems.
• System fit-off, testing and commissioning.
• Basic programming and configuration of fire systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and rectification.
• Coordinate project activities and site requirements.
• Report project progress to management.
• Ensure work complies with Australian Standards and procedures.
• Opportunity to gain experience within maintenance and service division.
