Job summary

Sandvik AB is seeking a Sales Development Specialist – Fire Suppression to grow opportunities across fire suppression systems and mobile refuelling station solutions within a defined customer base. You’ll collaborate with new and existing customers, leveraging your commercial acumen to drive growth across mining, OEM, contractor, and industrial sectors, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Australian Driver’s Licence is required.
• Experience in equipment, aftermarket, or industrial sales and service environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience using CRM systems and opportunity management tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of fire suppression systems or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Grow fire suppression installation and service-related business with new and existing customers, focusing on strategic accounts.
• Identify new market opportunities and prospect potential customers.
• Conduct fleet gap analyses to uncover sales opportunities across Sandvik and non-Sandvik equipment.
• Collaborate with Product Support Sales Representatives to identify and convert growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Develop and manage customer agreements and support the achievement of sales targets.
• Work closely with service teams to ensure installation and maintenance requirements are delivered effectively.
• Act as the main contact for aftermarket support and customer issue resolution.
• Provide regular updates on business development activities, pipeline opportunities and customer satisfaction.
• Support customers with training opportunities and product knowledge.
