Job summary

Sandvik AB is seeking a Sales Development Specialist – Fire Suppression in Australia to grow opportunities across mining, OEM, contractor, and industrial sectors. You will work with new and existing customers, leveraging CRM tools and product knowledge to drive growth and deliver value-based solutions.

You will join a driven team with comprehensive product training, travel to customer sites throughout Australia (≈40%), and a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Experience in equipment, aftermarket, or industrial sales and service.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience using CRM systems and opportunity management tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of fire suppression systems or willingness to learn through training.

Responsibilities

• Grow fire suppression installation and service-related business with both new and existing customers, focusing on strategic accounts.
• Identify new market opportunities and prospect potential customers.
• Conduct fleet gap analyses to uncover sales opportunities across Sandvik and non-Sandvik equipment.
• Collaborate with Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSR) to identify and convert growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Develop and manage customer agreements and support the achievement of sales targets.
• Work closely with service teams to ensure installation and maintenance requirements are delivered effectively.
