Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a dedicated facilities assistant to support cleaning, catering and laundry services across Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. You will follow Department Policies and Procedures and perform daily tasks safely, contributing to a safe environment for staff, patients and the public.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, mentoring new recruits as required, and supporting a healthy work/life balance while enjoying the regional

Qualifications

• Daily work routine carried out safely per Department Policies and Procedures.
• Work independently and in a team to deliver cleaning, catering and laundry services.
• Mentoring role with new recruits as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleaning, catering and laundry standards across the facility.
• Adhere to Vaccine Preventable Diseases requirements and workplace policies.
