Job summary

Intrax is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer in NSW to lead projects from concept through handover, designing wet and dry fire systems, preparing hydraulic calculations and technical reports. You will collaborate with clients, authorities and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated fire protection solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in fire protection engineering or fire services design.
• Strong capability across wet and dry fire systems.
• Experience leading projects from concept through construction and handover.
• Sound knowledge of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards (AS 2118, AS 2419, AS 1670).
• Experience in building services consulting or design-and-build environments.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer at Intrax, you’ll take a leading role in designing practical, coordinated fire protection solutions across a diverse project portfolio. You’ll work with clients, authorities and multi-disciplinary project teams to move projects from concept and design through construction, commissioning and handover.

This role offers the technical breadth to work across wet and dry fire protection systems, with the autonomy to lead projects, influence design decisions and help strengthen our fire protection capability in NSW.

What you'll do

• Design wet and dry fire systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, detection, alarms and suppression systems
• Prepare hydraulic calculations, technical reports, specifications and coordinated design documentation

What you bring
